Primary Two Explore 'Henry Brothers' Nature Reserve'

16th Jun 2016

The children in Primary Two had great fun exploring 'Henry Brothers' Nature Reserve' on Thursday 16th June.  They enjoyed playing the 'Let's Be Birds' game, flying, swooping and gliding like birds.  Then they became 'nature artists' searching for different colours in the environment to create an artists pallet.  Some of the children managed to find more than 11 colours.  Next we climbed a steep path to a quiet area in the reserve where the children became scientists.  They were given the challenge of looking for bugs.  We found the biggest slug that our guide had ever seen and we found a frog.  Our trip finished with a 'bush tucker challenge'!  On our way back to the bus we found some 'jungle' animals hiding in the trees.  Look out for them in our photos.  We want to say a big 'THANK YOU' to the 'Henry Brothers' Team' for letting us visit their fabulous nature reserve.
