School is now closed for Summer - Enjoy the holidays! School will re-open to P1 & P7 pupils on Wednesday 27 August 9-12.15pm(P1) & 12.30pm (P7) and P1-7 pupils on Thursday 28 & Friday 29 August. School will close P1-3 12.15pm and P4-7 12.30pm on these dates.Normal school hours commence on Monday 1 September 2025.

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at Woods

There was lots of excitement today as the children in Woods PS celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Thanks to Gavin Hawthorn for baking our special cake and to Jayne for making the beautiful cupcakes. The staff organised some themed Craft and party games outside. Everyone had a lot of fun together. Enjoy the bank holiday Weekend everyone!
