Primary 5 enjoyed a highly engaging and educational day on Tuesday during their visit to McKee’s factory in Maghera. The pupils had the opportunity to observe first-hand how products are manufactured, stored, and distributed, which significantly enriched their current class topic, “How’s It Made?”.
Following the factory tour, the class visited Meadowbank Sports Arena, where they participated in a variety of activities, including badminton, uni-hockey, and football. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was clear that the trip was both enjoyable and beneficial for all involved.
We extend our sincere thanks to Mr Paul Gibson for facilitating the visit to McKee’s, as well as for generously providing complimentary sausage rolls for all pupils and staff, and meat each week for the after-school cookery club for P6 & P7 pupils.
