P4 enjoyed finding out about how hot air balloons worked today. They found out that hot air rises. They then made paper aeroplanes, first their own design, and then they followed instructions to make a different one. They threw their aeroplanes to see which went further. The distance was measured in centimetres using metre sticks. All linked to our third term topic ‘Up, Up and Away!’
