P4 enjoyed a brilliant day at Ranfurly House, Dungannon participating in the 'Castles' programme. The guide told us about Hugh O'Neill who lived in a castle on the site and about 'The Flight of the Earls', when he had to leave Ireland. We found out about life in a castle. We then walked up the hill and admired the magnificent view. We discussed the reasons why this was such an excellent location for a castle. Everyone then had great fun working together in a group to build a castle out of junk materials. Such amazing results!
