We had a special STEM day this week. The children in P2 pretended that they were going on an adventure to the jungle. They had to decide what they would need to take and then try to fit it all into a suitcase. When they arrived in the jungle they had to build a hide, make a camp fire, figure out a way to get water from the river to their camp, build a bridge across the river and create a pulley system to help lift water or food up to a house on stilts. They also had a go at making a balance for weighing things. We had so much fun.
