What a FANTASTIC achievement for 20 of our P4 - P7 pupils who have become Word Millionaire readers using our Accelerated Reading Programme. This means they have read over 1,000,000 words during this school year. These are as follows - 5 Millionaire readers in P4, 4 Millionaire readers in P5, 6 Millionaire readers in P6 and 5 Millionaire readers in P7. An extra special congratulations goes to Peter in P4, Emma - Louise in P5 and Emma in P7 who have read over 2 million words.
Do keep encouraging your children to read their AR books - it's not all about becoming a word millionaire. It has been so rewarding for staff and parents to see the children develop a love of reading and improve their comprehensions skills. We are proud of all of our children and their improved reading scores! Well done everyone! Keep it up!
